Antique Edwardian Mahogany Dressing Chest with Swing Mirror

Antique Edwardian mahogany dressing chest dating from around the early 1900s. It has a lovely warm colour with attractive figuring to the drawer fronts, a large adjustable swing mirror held between turned wooden supports, and four spacious drawers arranged as two smaller drawers over two full-width drawers. The drawers are dovetailed and fitted with traditional brass ring handles and keyholes, while the chest stands on tapered legs with castors. A well-made and substantial piece with plenty of useful storage, and it would work equally well as a dressing chest or bedroom chest of drawers.
