This striking, highly sculptural table lamp base is a classic statement piece from the 1970s West German art pottery era, produced by the renowned lighting manufacturer Steinbach Leuchten. The ceramic body features an elaborate, openwork multi-tiered silhouette defined by distinctive loop handles and organic negative spaces. The bulbous dome base is heavily detailed with decorative pierced circular cutouts. It is covered in a rich, glossy brown and earthy cream reactive running glaze, creating high-contrast marbling typical of the stylized Fat Lava era aesthetics. The ceramic body is intact with excellent vintage coloration. It comes fitted with a standard black lightbulb socket. 59 cm tal
