Vintage rectangular playing card box finished in a rich brown leather-effect covering with fine gold decorative edging. The removable lid lifts off to reveal two separate internal compartments, designed to hold two standard packs of playing cards. Similar twin-deck card boxes were commonly made as bridge or card-game accessories during the mid-20th century. In good vintage condition with light signs of age and use.
